I am also curious about the question of this forum. The theme that I have been reading from a lot of books as well as here within this thread, is that a house hack is a great way to get yourself started, but not really an end game move for high returns and building your portfolio. If you have the capital, would investing into multifamily units (2-4) be a smart investment? My thought being that this will allow you to start scaling your portfolio and have multiple units on a single loan. Because I am not sure how people are able to take out so many mortgages to have numerous SFH.
