Every state is different...would do some research for your state.  Consider calling the state real estate commission to confirm your understanding.  You want to set up your business correctly from Day 1.

We get them on amazon - look out for sales.  We put them in protective pillow covers too.

Costco towels have been great for us - white in beach houses

Separate Makeup small clothes - microfiber, grey from amazon.

Beach/Pool Towels - Most of them are from Standard Textile through Host GPO (Seaside Stripe / Terry Pool) and they are in great shape after the summer.  We also have some from walmart (not as great in quality but fun colors to mix in)

@Josh Surver - I agree with the guidance and experiences noted by @Frank Chin.   Invest your time in learning (how) or find someone to support you (who) in getting QBO set up and identify automation.  If you use a Property Management System, having QBO API with them will support the process too.

I would suggest that you set up a vendor onboarding process for your business so that you collect W-9s for vendors and have them tracked appropriately in QuickBooks or your tool of choice.  It is easier to collect W9s up front.  It then becomes an easy process in January to comply and issue if you meet the criteria and need to issue a 1099.

I have used a few different folks that I sourced through Fiver.  Upwork is another great place to source excellent resources for projects.  You can check out profiles to see if someone is the right fit for you and your brand.

@Mark Miles

That's fantastic. Great idea. We are about to close on our first STR. Would you be willing to share the name of the person you used for the interior design? Also, did you source them through Upwork or another site? Thanks.
