I was invited to a Airbnb Mastermind in June from Eric Moeller from Airbnb Profit Club. The summit is in Puerto Rico. I wanted to see if anyone heard of it or is attending.

Are these offsite masterminds worth it? Has anyone attending anything similar

Thanks!

What @Jeremy W. said is correct. The one thing is say the previous owner applied for an Airbnb in apartment 2 and you applied for an Airbnb license in apartment 3 its going to bounce back with a denial as it assumes that theres an AIrbnb in Apt 2.

Basically what i am saying is its not based on who applies for it its based on the building. What might happen is if you apply with the same apartment unit as the previous is you might get a approval with the same registration number as the previous owner.

All what i am saying is everything is all automated and this is all technicalities.

Overall your going to be fine running your Airbnb. Theres no reason why you cant have your 1 airbnb in your building

You dont have proof of the original condition when they came in. Also kicking someone out after 15 years and keeping their money too? i understand its business but i would exit on good terms and move on

The day i don't have to read @Paul Sandhu and @Luke Carl on a short term rental post will be a great day.  They add no value and discourage everyone in doing anything.

Cassandra keep rocking out. I am confident you will figure it out. I do the lease & sublease model in Chicago in many apartments. I do this full time now.

Maybe we can give each-other tips to get into each-others market. I have contacts in A class neighborhoods

@Mark Kappelman I agree your current tenants will not like it. Some might ask to get out of their lease. When this happened i allowed them to get out.

I would assume any future prospective tenants if you let them know in advance they will be open to it.

Just sell it is corporate housing, you screen guests and background check on all guests, you require minimum x days, and your marketing to high end familys etc.
