@Matt P. Where in my post do I indicate that I am not working in the field of my choice? I do and have been doing so ever since attending uni :) "If money is not an issue you could always just buy cash." It's something that I've been thinking about as well, I personally just don't think it'd be the smartest thing to do in my situation.

Hi there!

I want to learn everything there is about house hacking. What are your favorite books, people, podcasts, blog posts, blogs etc. on this topic?

It's a topic that I find deeply fascinating and while I'll be traveling all of 2018 I want to get into house hacking once I am all set at my new location.

Thank you so much!

Nina

Thank you! I am learning so much by just asking questions and reading other people's posts. It's incredible! I am also an avid listener of the BP podcasts - they are so helpful! Ah, Think and grow rich! Last year I must have read it 2 times in a row. I'll need to pick it up again. It's a fantastic book! Thank you so much :)

I just finished uni 4 years ago, hence no long-term employment. Simply not possible at my age (and with all my moves).

I don't have credit, because I've lived in other countries than my home country. I see that as an asset, not a disadvantage.

Lastly, yes, it's an assumption. Money isn't an issue.

Thanks!

@Ken Breeze

Thank you for your reply!

I've been listening to a ton of podcasts, and I am soaking it all in. Really good stuff! I've also been reading almost all of Kiyosaki's books, some multiple times.

Absolutely!

I do have plenty of savings, so that's not the issue. I don't have a credit history, because I move a lot between countries and no long-term employment .. well .. I just finished uni 4 years ago! :)

I am currently traveling for a year to 1.5 years and will probably move to Germany sometime in 2019. I'd love to be part of your European Bigger Pockets Master Mind Group! While I won't be there any time soon, I'll be there soon enough.

What's your #1 tip for people who are keen on breaking into the industry?

PS: Gut zu wissen! :D

Absolutely! I think it's a great way to rent space! I would say that it's only really risky if one does not follow the law. As long as the majority of the space is occupied by the owner it's within the law! :)
