You’re already under contract.  Get worn your realtor to get advice on what to do.  And remember that getting out of this contract you may end up losing money.  Again, your realtor should guide you.  Remember  just because the market conditions are getting “worse” doesn’t give you the ability to renegotiate.

LOL at the descriptions of ATX from those that have never been here.

As for the humidity, bring it.  The triple digits and humidity is my weapon when I race in Pikes Peak against Colorado folks that run on mountains daily.

Aside from that Austin has quite the diversity, Hill  country, water activities, lots of outdoor folks (running, cycling, swimming, rowing, fishing) and it has areas to even cater the cosmopolitan people looking for swanky places to eat.

Colorado? I will visit and make money there. To live there?  Nope.

Thanks, @Beau Fannon!  I have personal interest there as well.  I’m actually finally going to dive into multifamily (apartments) investing.  The Denver area (Colorado Springs) is one of the top markets to watch for.  Thankfully so is Austin as I’m not surprised given the developments on all fronts from last year.  Hoping this is the year I’m able to secure something!  It’s been a long goal of mine, and I mean well over a decade long!

Wonderful!  I had Mark come to speak at two of my events for ITC yesterday.  Love hearing this about my hometown and of course my current area now.  I still mourn for the old Austin...way, way, way before 14 years ago ;)

Interview several investor friendly realtors! And I mean several.  It sounds like you need one.

That price point In that area will be tough without getting into something that’s going to need some major rehab.
