I live in Jackson, MS, and have just started investing in the area. We have a few great Facebook groups that have online meetings. You should check it out. I'm sure you could make some great contacts and find the info you are looking for...Try Jackson Real Estate Investment Group, Mississippi Association of Real Estate Investors, and Real Estate Roundup. Good luck!

I live in Jackson, MS, and have met Walter. He has an online network called Financial Friends Network. You can google it and request to join. On the site you will find lots of educational videos and networking opportunities he has put together. I've learned a lot this way.

Have you tried the Real Estate Roundup group on Facebook? They are based in Hattiesburg.
I don't know much about Starkville but my CPA has a client who owns several properties there and he says he does very, very well. Have you thought about joining the Mississippi Association of Real Estate Investors Facebook group? Someone there might have more suggestions. Good luck!

I agree with @Jay Hinrichs on going to the local RIG meetings. I go to every meeting that I have time to attend. The knowledge you gain and the relationships you make are invaluable.

I started entering my info but stopped once it asked me to link my bank accounts. I don't feel comfortable doing that. Maybe, if I read more reliable reviews in the future, I will consider using the service. I'm with you, @Margie Kohlhaas, I only have one, so Excel is fine for now.
