I recently used the service for one of our higher end single family homes and I think it worked out great. What would be nice is maybe a mobile friendly browser for tenants that primarily use smart phones and have limited access to a pc. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, I was pleased with the process.

Josh, are you doing business with Majestic Management and if so, do you recommend them? I'm looking for a property manager to manage rentals in East Saint Louis. Recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I love BP! I think its the best REI website ever. I am a self proclaimed 'lurker' and have used BP to jumpstart my business. Like other newbies here, I do like to search for a topic before posting a question because usually, the question has already been asked. There is so much information here it can be a bit overwhelming (in a positive way) for a newbie. The more I learn on BP, the more I realize I what I dont know, which probably prevents me from getting involved in some of the active threads.

Dave,
IMO, Some of the best places to by in St Louis are South City (but all of South City isnt good, one street may be very nice but the next block over not so nice.) Also check out St Charles County. I sent you a PM with some info on some of the areas around here that you may want to take a look at. Please let me know if I can assist in any way!

Hi Dave. Right now my primary investing focus is buy and hold. I had luck with my first property, but I really would like to learn as much as I can this year and puchase a 2-4 family in South City by EOY. I hear that Belleville is a desirable area to purchase RE. Good school districts. How has the short sale market been for you there?
