I can't seem to log into my BP account on my iPhone app. I've checked and rechecked the password and username.

Has anyone else had this problem??

Thanks @Greg Potter Great advice on the landlord/tenant relationship. I've seen what happens when that advice isn't followed. I was thinking I would need to go with a 3/4 unit. It would be great to be able to extract some cash flow from the property so I can put it towards a second dedicated investment. But one step at a time.

Thanks for the tips @Darren Sager I'd love to attend the meetup in NJ when you get everything confirmed so please send that link when you can :) I've read through the book and @Brandon Turner and @Joshua Dorkin did a great job on it!

@Shawn Mcenteer shoot me a message, it would be a pleasure to meet up

Thanks everyone for the welcome!

Thinking about making my first property an owner occupied multi family. The obvious benefits being that renters pay your expenses for you. I'm thinking the downside is that it's a pretty slow way to accumulate capital for additional properties but since I don't own properties yet I'm probably going to need collateral for loans right? I would be buying this property in Hudson County, New Jersey.

Does anyone have thoughts on this? Are there other alternatives/aspects I should consider?

Thanks!

Does anyone know the laws in NJ regarding asking a tenant to leave an apartment in order to do a renovation? The apartment really needs to be redone from top to bottom. I've looked at the Anti-Eviction Act and related bulletins from the state but I haven't seen anything specifically mentioned about this.

Thanks!

Hi everyone. My name is Alex Vitro. I've been managing two multi-family properties for my parents which they hold as cash flowing investments and it's been working out pretty well so I've decided to get more into real estate and start investing on my own.

I've formed a company and have what I think is a good business plan in place for investing in buy and hold real estate but am still working on narrowing down my market.

Anyway, I'm really hoping to make this more and more of a full time occupation as I go so I'm looking to connect with people who can help me learn more about the industry and become a successful investor.

I'd love to talk to you if you know about my area or just have any knowledge to share. Feel free to contact me anytime by phone or email. I'll be happy to return your help in any way I can!
