Hello everyone,

My name is Noah and I'm 21 years old from Denver, CO! I've been looking into wholesaling for a bit now and I'm really interested in getting started in it. I have years of experience in real estate but more on the commercial investing and property management side. Just looking for someone I can learn from and shadow, sort of like a mentor figure. If you or someone you know has any advice, I would love to connect either over a phone call or grabbing lunch sometime. Thanks!!

Hi Chad,

Thanks so much for your reply. I would love to sit down with you and discuss further. I clicked the link you provided and it only mentioned a call. Do I still book it that way? Please let me know.

Thank you,

Noah Tsehaye

Hello Everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well. My name is Noah and I am 21 years old looking to get in further into the world of real estate. I have years of experience with property management, and I want to get into things like fix and flip and maybe wholesaling. Eventually I want to be just an investor in things like apartment buildings and larger scale projects. I just got back from a great conference and networking event for young realtors and investors in Washington, DC, but was looking for something like that here in Denver, CO.  I met many successful guys in their mid to late 20s, some of which who make 6 figures a month, all involved in either selling homes, investing, or Airbnb arbitrage.

I am looking for someone I can speak to about getting started and potentially even a mentor that I can really learn the game from and get guidance from. I would love to grab lunch/coffee so please let me know if this is of interest to you guys. It's a great community on here and I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Thank you,

Noah Tsehaye

@Noah Tsehaye It may sound like you are hearing an echo buy my vote is house hacking as well!

4 reasons
1. Low capital to get your foot in the door. There are also some amazing grant programs out there that offer down payment assistance

2. Hand on property management experience

3. Decreased living expenses

4. This is a future rental your are purchasing

Also, go to the learn tab on BP and find a few meet ups to attend as well!

Best of luck!

Hey @Ben Einspahr! Thanks for the reply. Honestly, it's an echo I do not mind hearing. There must be truth to it if everyone is recommending it. I wanted to ask about those programs you mentioned that offer the down payment assistance. Do you know where I can find more information on that? And also, when you say that it's a future rental that I am purchasing you mean it in the sense that I buy it right now and would rent later on correct?

Seems like you already have the experience to manage a property. Might as well buy your first one if you haven't already.

What are your goals for wanting to begin building wealth now.

House hacking is the best way to start but if you want to work for an investor that can teach you and invest with them , that's another good route to go.

Hi @Tanner Pile! Thanks for the reply. My goal for wanting to begin building wealth now is to become financially free and live the life that I want to. I have a lot of things I want to do and I believe that real estate is the way to achieve those goals.

I was thinking of the investor route honestly. Someone that I can work for and learn from and eventually invest with them as well. Would you recommend something like that?

Welcome to the community, and congrats for taking to first step. Bigger Pockets is a great place to connect and learn. My first step would be to spend as much time as I could networking and learning to underwrite deals. I would also try to find an experienced team/ Investor and add value to their existing business (this is how a natural mentorship is created).

Thanks for your reply @Bryant Dawson! I just recently found out about the meetups there are though Bigger Pockets so I will definitely be taking advantage of that to network further. I will also be looking into the underwriting deals as you mentioned. Again, thanks for the reply!

Hey @Noah Tsehaye, welcome to the community! You are in a great place to start making moves in your real estate career. Denver has an awesome community of investors and most people are more than happy to help out new investors. If you go up to the learn tab and then events, you'll find that there are endless in-person meetup groups around Denver. This is going to be one of the best ways to start connecting with like-minded people and to learn from others. Let me know if you want some advice on my favorite meetups in the area.

Good luck to you!

Hi Dan! Thank you so much for your reply. I will definitely be checking that out. I would really appreciate your advice on your favorite meetups in the area. Thanks again!

Hi everyone!

My name is Noah, and I am 20 years old and live in the Denver metro area. I am here on this forum because I am very eager and really wanting to get started in my real estate career. I have experience in managing properties (leases, demands, other paperwork etc) but I want to start buying real estate and building wealth now. I am open to and interested in all types of real estate from fixing and flipping houses to commercial real estate.

I would love to hear all of your guys' thoughts, advice, and ideas as well as connect with others that live/work in the Denver metro area. I am just trying to absorb as much information as possible and build connections.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from this awesome community!
