I also agree and putting my $$ to back it up .... already seeing prices rise at the low-end! New REO inventory can't keep up with demand ... their economy (like a lot of places) still struggling especially with unemployment but warm weather, no state income tax, affordable homes, increasing population, world class amenities, etc make Vegas a good investment, imo.

I think renting is the way to go if you aren't certain you will live there 3+ years and/or if your mtg payment would be difficult to make especially if you have, as you say, a 'low paying job' or worried about losing your job. Of course, buying is definitely something to consider with depressed prices, sub 5% fixed interest rates, and our govt giving money to people buying homes!

I like the idea .... especially if it documented the vendors experience by type of transaction, date, outcome and comments from all parties involved in the deal (good, bad and neutral).
