If your goal is to buy directly from sellers, I certainly wouldn't advise soliciting MLS listings (unless you're willing to let the agent keep their commission). If you do go this route, you might start blasting the agents with a well thought out pitch that describes your model thoroughly. 90% of them won't understand what you're talking about, and of the 10% that do, very few will actually want to work with you, but if you have nothing better to do than I would say go for it.

For those of us with RE licenses, there is a lot of value in being familiar with the MLS system and being able to navigate it quickly and precisely.
Our local system was just switched from Tempo to Matrix. I'm typically not a fan of change in general, but this one seemed especially unnecessary as I thought Tempo was a very well designed and thought out system. Does anyone that uses either have an opinion? More importantly, is there anyone that uses Matrix that can tell me it will get better some day?

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to tonight's meeting (or meeting after the meeting), but I could see this being a good group in the future.

Karen M. I just replied over on the other thread. Hope you found this thread useful, though.

Basically if you set things up right you can increase your MID beyond the $1 M it is currently capped at... or at least that's my interpretation. Perhaps Steven Hamilton II can weigh in?

Just checked back in on this... really glad my Niners pulled out the victory. Holy cow. Leave it to a bunch of RE Investors to get into this level of minutiae for a $100 deduction. Pretty awesome work here, guys.

Technically I won a bet... but you and the Red Cross are the ones that benefit from my victory :)

Heck of a game... definitely was on pins and needles after going down 17-0. Now comes the hard part of trying to find a cost-effective way to attend the Super Bowl...

Well I guess that's what I get for assuming.
That said... Let's call it a $200 wager, an even C-note going to each BP and the Red Cross. Since I'm picking my team, it's only fair that you pick the charity.
I'll take the Niners! May the best man win.
