@Alton Pettit

Currently the lifespan age of male American is 76. You probably lived 26 of it, so 50 is left. Why would you expect to exist 100 years more? That impossible. As soon as you understand this limitation you might change the investment plan.

Need to understand how to see units in multifamily after converting them to condo.

Would it be possibly to conventionally finance them?

@Hamad Khan

4 doors with 26k passive net here. I'd say redo your investment to minimize number of doors, in case you self manage.

He is asking what would be taxable income. Does land considered as inventory and he pays 0 tax or not?

Folks, Austin RE went up in recent years. The prime areas didn't really drop in price. I am regularly investing in real estate and properties that I was supposed to sell didn't sell. Where are we heading? Is the price going to drop more? I see good deals on market, but should I wait more for more corrections?

Are there any line of credits on INVESTMENT property that one can make in Texas? I don't need lump sum, I need excess to equity when I would need, aka HELOC like investment.

@Doug Smith

Do you lend in Texas? I did 5 flips and 2 new construction houses, all high end. I have subs and know my costs.

I need help to get best case on my financial situation. I have a piece of land I want to use to build a house and sell it. I have approved plans and ready to start. The cost of land is closer to 1mil now and there is no lien on it. The problem is I need money to build a house, and I prefer not to pay interest monthly but rather a balloon payment in the end of life of the mortgage. I need to draw about 700k. Any suggestions if such a structure exists? To summarize:

- construction loan

- interest is payed at the end
