Hello, how is everyone doing? I wanted to know if anyone knew of any good books that have great information on house hacking. My friend and I are planning on house hacking our first property God Willing by mid year 2017. Can anyone help? We want to make sure we learn very well before taking necessary action. We are in New Jersey looking to invest in a multifamily in Union City, West New York, North Bergen, Guttenburg, or Fairview areas. The plan is to get an FHA loan at hopefully 3.5% DP. If any also knows of any REIA meets in the area that would be awesome because we are looking to attend one.

I am new to all this but have you looked into getting a 203k loan along with it?

Kyle Scofield hey well we were looking to invest on our first property by next year. But we wanted to make sure we went in with the right knowledge to invest through house hacking. Anything that will help us get in on the right direction would be of great help.

Hey Carlos Rodrigues I too am completely new to this but been reading up trying to learn and hoping to invest through wholesaling or obtaining my first multi family property before this year is over.

CHRISTIAN FADUL that's awesome man. Yea the book I read was Rich Dad Poor Dad and the other 3 books he has lol Rich Dad Poor dad was my game changer so I continued on reading. It's just been a few days that I've been in BiggerPockets and I love this community already. Look me up on IG man ONEX__ ( that's two underscores lol) Dan Barli thanks man and I really want to learn wholesaling and get into multi-family properties.
