Hello all looking to refinance my property into an owner occupied and get a HELOC as well. Any suggestions on Lenders/Banks that do a refinance and HELOC on a concurrent application?

@William Allen Amazing story! Very inspiring! a year ago I tried to do what you have accomplished, but the active duty life/newborn were kicking my butt...so I stopped at month 2. If you don’t mind me asking what was your initial marketing budget?

I was in your situation not that long ago. I would explain it to my wife and she would be hesitant because she likes security and stability and I like my W2 job (military) but also RE investing on the side. What I ended up doing is I set up a getaway weekend, but on one of those evenings there was an hour long Rich Dad Poor Dad seminar. Once the presentation was over she understood it completely and knew the end goal. I had to tell her no about the pitch they give when selling the additional course and material at the end haha. Well that was my story maybe taking him to a seminar may or local REI meeting can help. Also be patient and run numbers by your husband, sometime they see something you don't.

Closing on rental number two pretty soon.

Hello everyone,

Currently I am living in North Dakota. I received orders to move to Keesler AFB, MS in June, and looking for a property in the area. I have heard great things about Ocean Springs but I am open minded. My plan is to use FHA or VA loan. Thanks for the help.
