Hello all,

I have been on BP for a while now and still have not purchased my first property other than my own house. A couple of thing I am working on to achieve my first purchase:

I am looking at 2 strategies (BRRR or just raising my own capital), which would be better ?

Also I am trying to get my significant other to look at real estate domestically rather than internationally and I have having some difficulties with just talking about starting in just purchasing new properties. Thanks for your help and advice in advance

Hello all I am new to Bigger Pockets and I have been attaining so much information from this wealth of knowledge. I am currently working full time as a Warehouse Manager in Richmond, VA and I am looking to begin investing. I have been interested for a long time. My Wife and I are ready to work on our definition of financial freedom ( traveling and adventures). I do have access to the VA loan thanks to my service in the Marine Corps. I am interested in multi-family and condos to start with. I am finding it difficult to analyze the deals to make sure it's a deal ( Repair costs , property taxes etc.) I am open to any help or advice. Thanks all.
