If you did not sign a representation agreement just find yourself another Realtor.  If you did sign the agreement goto the broker of the agent, explain the situation and let them know you want to terminate the agreement.  Most reasonable brokers would terminate the agreement with no issues.

If you don't own a home you may want to look into buying a multifamily home and living in one unit while renting the other units out.  That will help you get started in investing with smaller down payment requirements since it will be owner occupied
