@Mendez Garcia I use Jessica Sheiber, for residential evictions. my advice: be patient and put your emotions aside.

I was referred to her by Phil and team over at Homeowners Association in the Bronx. If you like, Phil always has his van parked outside of Bronx Housing Court, he's very knowledgeable and keeps it real on what to expect.

Hey Michael- reach out to David Bueno at black box engineering. (You should be able to find him by Googling since I can’t leave an email here)

I recently got a consultation and he was super informative. We didn’t go far enough for any prices due to covid but he is a fair guy.

I'm working on putting an offer in for a short sale property now but EVERYTHING in the BX is getting so expensive nowadays. Recently saw a SFH for 529k when 3 years ago same house was listed at 450. You can dig and find as long as you're ready to get your hands dirty and handle the cosmetic fixes yourself. I'm not at all picky so i guess that helps when looking for homes.

Hey everyone- @Abel Curiel love all your intel on BP!

Just wanted to chime in for some reassurance that you CAN house hack in NYC. I/We own 4 properties, where we have lived in while renting rooms and moved on to the next. Now we are managing them all and managing an additional one for a friend, and even have more friends getting into to it in the next few months/years. FYI- all in the BX!

*And we cashflow :)

Hey Yu, I work with a PM team, however we deal exclusively with the managing of  "coliving/room rentals" in the BX. DM me if you need more details.

As for the contractor, reach out to Ali @ Real Construction Co., he's professional and process was seamless.  DM me for the info since we are not allowed to post #'s.
