I've been investing in SFRsin Tacoma for buy and holds and am looking into moving in multifamily. I'm looking for someone to bounce a few questions off re the Tacoma market in particular. I've seen someone's name come up a few times in the Tacoma forums but unfortunately can't recall who that is. If anyone knows or has recent experience w/ Tacoma apartments please let me know. Thanks

I've done a few rentals in Tacoma in the past year and agree w/ Kyle. I'm a big fan of the vinyl planks. I essentially try to make things clean and new but in a way that the materials are durable or replaceable at a low enough cost.

Hi - I've got a 1950s rental home in Tacoma that I'd like to have the panel replaced and am looking for a good reasonably priced electrician if anyone has a suggestion.

Thanks!

@Rudy Manna - good to know Rudy. So far the 2 deals I've gotten have been off the MLS and I agree that the couple things I've seen from wholesalers are NOT good deals.

@jd

@JD Martin @Craig Dudley How do I know if I should also replace the main service line from the street to the house. It looks rusted right where it comes out of the ground in the crawl space but it hard to know how much corrosion inside - it's probably the original 100 yr old pipe, so I'm guessing replace as well?

Does anyone have a good and reasonably priced plumber they like? I have a 1913 SFR home in Tacoma with galvanized piping that I'd like to get a couple of bids on having it repiped while I'm doing other rehab anyway. Thanks!

Thanks Craig - I think that sounds like a sensible way to go. I appreciate the input!

@Scott S. yes, I'm hoping for $1500. It has a detached garage that's insulated, sheet rocked, concrete slab and additional 900 sf, which should also help! Thanks.
