Post: To LLC, or not to LLC

Is it better to LLC your business from the start or until established? I'm putting together my business plan so I can organize myself in order to have a good start. I have never just rushed into anything. At the moment, I've learning and researching the strategies and trying to find my niche. I am leaning towards wholesaling at first and eventually transitioning to BRRR, Flipping, and Buy and Hold. Thanks for any feedback from the foram.

@Kiera Underwood

Thanks for the thorough break down. If I were to say, El Paso is growing fast. When I first bought my house I didn't have any neighbors. Now all the desert landscape I used to see are all communities. The school district where I live is now one of the top schools in the state of Texas. The way I see it, it can only get better.

@Kiera Underwood

“...C class price point and cap rates.”

I do not know what that even means, but when I find out I’ll get back with you. Haha

@Kiera Underwood

Yes, I will be investing in El Paso for now and eventually branch out if all goes well. The market here has been steadily growing over the years. Especially with Fort Bliss growing every year.

@Thadeous Larkin

What’s the sound of Artillery!

I most definitely will reach out bro. Your recommendation is exactly what I am doing at the moment here in Afghanistan. Reading, YouTubing, researching and listening to podcasts. Something I’ve been interested in doing for awhile now. Now I’ll have to to actually pursue it.

@Yasir Einaudi

Thank for reaching out! I will definitely get with you when I get back. BRRR sounds like something I would like to eventually do in the future. To start off, I'm looking more into wholesaling to make some funds to start investing into properties. However, am interested in using OPM to as well. Trying to learn more on how I can buy property using different resources. This whole real estate investing has me wanting to learn all I can so that I can make good informed decisions in the future.

This new endeavor is new to me. I look forward to the challenge ahead. I just need a little push here and there to get me started. In the mean time, I have been nose deep in reading, researching  and YouTubing trying to get smart on it. If there are any experienced investors in the area willing to show me the market and share their knowledge and experience with me it would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance.

@John Fortes

Thanks for the advise. I will definitely check out the book. I have already ordered a few to get smart. Hopefully it will come natural to me after I start getting some experience and knowledge.

@Rachel Foster The more I research I do through reading comments, blogs, podcasts and YouTubing the better I’m understanding. I understand now that rental properties will give you residual income monthly, but will build equity over time as your renters pay your mortgage. I think I was expecting a larger cash flow and thought my analysis of the property wrong. Thanks for you input.
