Good job neighbor! I got mine started in January and was told the same thing by others who have Airbnb's in the area. I too have been booking solid. Just gotta stand out from the rest. Fun stuff!

Looks like I'm late to this conversation @Leilani L., but as @Account Closed mentioned, Paso Robles wine country is as busy as ever with tourists from all over visiting us. We have more wineries than Napa, quick access to Lake Nacimiento, just 30 minutes to beaches, and have a great downtown square. I own a fairly new Airbnb in downtown and it's doing better than expected for me. There are regulations within city limits, but as soon as you get outside into unincorporated county land the regulations are just about nonexistent. I have sold several second-homes to clients who live either in L.A. or the Bay Area and short term rent out the home just part-time while they do not use it and are still cash flowing on them. Message me if you want to chat more about it.

Hi Vincent are you looking for a long term rental manager or a short term rental manager?

Hi there Nicholas! I feel your pain brother! I'm up in Paso which isn't quite as bad as SLO, but pretty damn close. My suggestion would be to either bring in a partner who has funds or ask about seller financing. I am literally waiting on signatures on purchase in Paso as we speak (hope to have back this afternoon) for an off-market 3BR/1.5BA main house with a studio/1br guest house in the back. I inquired with the previous listing agent about the possibility of seller financing and he said "Well I'm not sure, but I can ask." And sure enough they're open to it and we are putting a deal together. 10% down and only 4% interest and zero closing costs/points. Hard money will be upwards of 8-10% and a point or two, BUT if it's a fixer upper then they will typically pay for 100% of the rehab costs as well. If you're looking at a fixer you won't be able to use an FHA loan as they are super strict about the condition of the property at closing. Shoot me a message and I'd be happy to set up a phone call to discuss things further if you want.

@Lance Friesz Hi Lance I'm a broker in Paso and have a handful of investor clients I work alongside on their Airbnb's out here while they live in the Bay Area. If you need to bring someone else in I'm happy to chat more, but as the others on here have said, your cleaners and handyman should pretty much be all you need at this point. Best of luck!
