There will be no sales pitches at the event, this is purely for local investors to meet up, network, and swap information. Because Giovan's allows us to meet for free, however, we ask that you consider buying a drink or ordering food in an effort to support our host.

Hey guys, due to the response I was getting on our Facebook group the date is will be Wednesday, the 16th. The intention is to keep it on Wednesdays like we have been so far.

I've used Jeff Gregory for Joliet rentals... He knows everyone in the city and owns rental property himself. It's just an additional revenue stream for him, managing his brokerage is his priority, but he gets the number and mindset side of our business. PM me if you want his contact info! 

Question / clarification: I said in the Bigger Pockets post that this will be Wednesday, May 15th. May 15th is a Tuesday and all our meetups have been on a Wednesday. Who is planning on attending? Currently we just have 2 confirmed on BP. Should we meet on the 15th or the 16th?

Depends on where in UP but in general there has been very low appreciation. I have a SFR there as well but I'm in a low poverty area by the university and golf course. Shoot me a message with your address - I pulled a thorough market report from neighborhood scout for my area before purchasing. I'd be happy to share it with you. Even if we are in different areas in University Park there should be a lot of good info there.

Hey Eric, welcome to BP! I host a local Joliet Investors meetup, which usually runs on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. It would be great to see you out there sometime and get you connected with other investors. It's free to attend and we don't have guest speakers with sales pitches - it's all about learning from each other.

I'm taking a break from hosting this coming month because I'm getting married and going on a honeymoon during the normal time. But set up some keyword alerts for Joliet and you'll see it in the Events section in May!
