@Kim Meredith Hampton/@Nathan Gesner .Thanks for your input. I am hearing the LLC setup gets clunky and becomes a nightmare to manage once your start scaling to more properties.

Also, I am a California resident(taxpayer) and was told by my CPA that we have to pay franchise taxes (800 per year) for LLC setup in other states. 800*(5 LLC's) =4000$ a year :(

I am hoping there is a better alternative  :)

I live in bay area(SF) and secured my first out-of-state SFR rental property a couple of months ago and in the contract for another out-of-state property.

Got really lucky in this crazy market. This would have not been possible without the BP resources & podcasts. Thanks!
