Hello All! I am looking to team up with some general contractors/real estate developers in the Johnson City TN area. I would like to learn from someone currently developing new homes in the area to learn the ropes. I have been doing single family flips/rentals for the last 3 years and I would like to scale up. (I think this is the next step for me.) Currently this area has a surplus of buyers and a shortage of inventory. If you are in the Tri-Cities and have done any builds recently lets chat!!

Hey @Jeremiah Cotner it is great hearing about your journey. My wife and I are also investors in Johnson City Tn an area you seem to be interested in. We have done one live in flip, and are currently finishing up a second. We have also purchased 3 rental properties and are looking to expand. Our properties are all SFR but we want to do more MF in order to grow faster however, opportunities are few and far between. Any who, we would love to connect sometime. @Daniel Dietz that is awesome. It looks like you have worked out all of the details and are making great returns. Do you mind me asking why it is good practice to form an LLC for the partnership?

I was thinking that was the case I will be talking to an attorney this next coming week to hammer out the details. Thanks for your help. Has anyone done a deal like this? How would you structure your deal?
