It's a good place to invest. The market did not drop like it did in the US during the last real estate crash. It seems that for a while there was a rush to build condos but that seems to have slowed.  

What kind of real estate investment were you thinking?

Hey Karl. I "know" you. From your listings. I met you once or twice when I went to view one of them. I especially remember one in Rolling Hills on the east side. Good to see you here.

I plan to stick around as much as possible. My development experience is probably only valuable to someone who is working in Barbados but I am always happy to share what knowledge I have.

I used to think about moving to Florida because it is closer to Barbados and my family on the East Coast. However, I like the low humidity of AZ and the low mosquito population as well!

Just learned about BP this morning and decided to join. I have been interested in real estate since I was a teenager. While in college I encouraged my mother to invest in RE and learned a great deal with her over the last thirty years. About ten years ago I inherited a RE development business from my dad. I have been managing that and learning about land development and sales in the island of Barbados. My knowledge is fairly extensive but I am a life learner so I always want to know more. I don't want to be a landlord. I want to buy cheap HUD homes and resell them with seller financing to people who can't get mortgages. My RE business is a passion and a mission. Looking forward to sharing and learning.
