Hi , I am very sorry about your bad experience. Looks like the inspector and Agent worked together on this. First take a good look at the inspection report to see if he made any recommendations and what he find bad. Most buyers do not read the report because is normally 15 to 25 pages long and confusing. If he did not make a comment on some of this items check if he include on the report or agreement the SOP ( standard of Practice ) do he have any certifications, or affiliations to other professional groups.
Then you should talk to a attorney and you can make a claim, A inspector should carry Errors or omission insurance, most state require this. Then you can make a report to the board of realtors, but that won't help you much.
For more info on Inspectors check this site: You can find certified and well trained inspectors on https://www.nachi.org/certified-inspectors or ASHI.
Good luck

HI, yes a Inspector should look at all this things mentioned by John plus HVAC as long as there is access to inspect those areas.

If companies start telling workers to start working from their homes and office buildings start going empty, how would this affect the residential and rental markets? How communities will spread out of the cities congested streets?
