Thank you @Jon Huber
Yes I agree Sweden can be a nice country, at least in the summer.
I don't live that far from Gothenburg, approximately a 3 hour drive.
The rent is high in the cities but so is the property prices, but who knows
maybe ill contact you when I have the perfect property for you in Sweden then ;)

Thank you @Elizabeth Colegrove
You are probably right, I should try to get a good price on the property I mentioned before.
I actually have an appointment at my bank to discuss mortgage possibilities and after that I will call the owner and give him an offer.

Hi BP community.
My name is Rikard Cederberg and i live in Sweden.
I'm 37 years old (well 38 in about 3 days) and i have a wife and 2 kids.
I found this website just recently when i was looking for more information on how to analyze and calculate on a multifamily rental property.
There is an multifamily property for 3 families with a total of 10 bed 4 bath located just 100 meters from where i live that i know will be out on the market soon.
This made me start an interest for real estate investing.
My first thought was to start investing in turnkey properties in other countries than Sweden.
Even tho i would love to quit my job and live on rental properties that is not something i can do in a near future and then i feel i wont have the time to manage rental properties my self.
And Sweden is not the best market for rental properties anyway.
But then i got more information on turnkey investments and that did not seem good at all.
Overpriced properties with not that problem free management.
Now I'm in a position where I'm not sure how i would start my journey towards my dream.
If i buy a property in lets say USA how would i manage it?
This turned in to something else then just an introduction but I'm sure you know how it is to be a newbie at something, more questions then answer in the beginning.
Thanks for your time
Rikard Cederberg
