Thanks! I really liked it too at first, but I found that I have a hard time saying 'Phoenix Cash Solutions' outloud. The 'sh' in cash messes with the 'S' in solutions. Maybe it's just me.
Hey everyone. I'm starting to wholesale and I want to treat it as a business instead of a hobby. Part of that is setting up an LLC and bank account for the business so I can easily track expenses. With separate accounting I'll be able to track my ROI for different marketing strategies, be wise about taxes, and protect my LLC status in case of a lawsuit.
So, I know that a name isn't that important, but If I'm going to drop ~$100 setting it up, I want to be happy with it and have it fit my business.
Here's my criteria:
- easy to remember
- relevant to motivated sellers (I'm going to use it on some marketing), but not necessarily to buyers.
- available matching domain name and LLC name in Arizona
Also, I don't plan on making a huge splash on the SEO/AdWords scene until I have some deals under my belt, so competing with sellmyhousefast4cash.com (one of Sean Terry's sites here in Phoenix) isn't that important to me yet.
Here's some of my ideas that meet the above reactions, let me know your gut reactions, good or bad:
Phoenix Cash Solutions LLC (hard to say out loud)
In The Clear Homes LLC
Fast Exit Options LLC (insert 'Clear,' 'Easy,' or 'Smart' instead of 'Fast')
Home-Free Options LLC
Thanks all!
I lived in NE Indy during my teenage years, if that counts, and I've actually been to Mucie! I married an Indy girl who's parents just moved from Fishers to Brownsville, so we come back for Thanksgiving/Christmas.
Welcome to BiggerPockets, I'm interested to hear how you fare in the Muncie/Indy market because we might move back there some day.

Welcome to Biggerpockets!
I'm here in Phoenix starting off with wholesaling. What methods do you use to pick up properties? Direct marketing, buying at auction, MLS HUD/REO/Short sales, PPC Google advertising, or something else?
I like the Bakerson website. What's your role within Bakerson?

Finally! I live on podcasts/audiobooks for my daily commute and I wouldn't be in real estate if I hadn't randomly downloaded Millionaire REI by Gary Keller on a whim.
Great job Marty Boardman, Joshua Dorkin, and Brandon Turner! That's another 5 star review from me. And I'm a huge fan of the episode notes, a lack of notes was one of my biggest frustrations with my current podcasts.
I wonder how long until you hit the #1 for RE, investing, and business. It's only a matter of time!

Just to write them? Or to write them and put them out?
I listened to a podcast where a guy paid $1 per sign posted, but they had to take a picture of each sign they posted as proof.

I too am listening to Sean Terry's podcast, and I still don't know what to think. He gives out a lot of great info but I think he sets the expectation too high of how much money you'll make and how quickly. Maybe that's intended to motivate and raise our vision of what's possible, but I see a lot of new wholesalers here on BP who feel like failures because its been 6 months and they still haven't done a deal.
As far as the Academy goes, it looks like it's 'closed' from the website: http://flip2freedomacademy.net/now-closed/
I don't know if this is just a marketing scheme to get our emails and play into 'loss aversion' by making the chance to join the academy seem special. It seems like now he's focused on doing events, his next one being is called 'Extreme Freedom' in Atlanta in February.
I'm also listening to Real Estate Investing Mastery, which seems to go hand in hand with flip2freedom. And also still don't know what to think of that one either.

Elizabeth, from what I understand, yellow letters work for two reason:
1. Lots of people throw away almost all mail that looks like 'marketing' without even opening it (I sure do). But I always open a letter that is hand-addressed to me. It gets people's attention and they will read what's inside.
2. It does make the offer more approachable and personal, like you said. Some people will be curious and less intimidated than by a printed letter or flyer.

Wow! I'm glad you didn't lose your car. Are there holes in the sides of your signs? I guess I'm struggling to envision exactly how you're attaching the signs. Could you take a picture of one and post it?
