@Wendell De Guzman , I think I know why your CL adds might be getting flagged. I was reading an article on Dodd-Frank at http://www.legalwiz.com/owner-financing-dodd-frank... and I saw this little nugget: "Technically, you can

I have recently started driving for dollars on the SE side of KC. It was amazing to me - in 15 minutes I found about 7 homes in need of repair (I tend to look for roofs that need replacement).
This particular county has a GIS map. This allows me to look up the owner/tax info from the address. I can also click on their neighbors home and view if they have a mortgage on file or not (pretty fancy I thought).
When the owners address was different than the property address, I knew I was looking at either an investor or possibly an inherited property. The county GIS allows me to search properties by owners name. When I found where the owner didn't live at the property, I searched by the full name. Some of the owners owned several properties...some of which need some work.
I just sent my first batch (10 letters) out yesterday. I work a full-time, outside sales job - so I don't want more than a call or two a day (at most). I know 10 letters won't get that, but I have another 10 letters to different owners going out next week, and so on.
Are you able to drive through your target neighborhoods? This might be a good way to learn your area (if you don't know it already).

I know @Joshua Dorkin is really against them because the handwritten ones look pretty trashy (is this going to be your brand?) and because they are usually illegal in most towns/cities.
That being said, I've read other posts that swear by them. A few early BP podcast guests have said they get really good response by them. Since then, I haven't heard a podcast guest since then say anything positive about them. I think Josh and Brandon are screening their guests better - lol!
I'm trying to keep away from them and focusing on driving for dollars instead. However, I can't promise I won't try the bandit signs at some point.
Good luck!

Hi @Eric Sample - you have found a great resource in BP. I would suggest listening to the podcasts, using the search window in the upper right hand corner, and (but certainly not least) thank you for your service!

Good afternoon BP Nation!
I was wondering if anyone uses CL to find motivated sellers. I searched most of the recent posts and blogs for CL, but didn't find what I was looking for.
For those that use CL:
1) How many times a day/week do you post?
2) Do you use different accounts to keep from being ghosted?
3) How many calls/clicks do you get from this source?
Thanks for reading!
