Post: Need Advice: I saw a real estate investor ask for an apprentice?

Well I'm 17 years old and today was my first day of my senior year in high school. This whole summer I've been reading and studying things such as real estate, finance, economics, etc.. I think I might skip college to be a realtor or work in real estate as a gate way to become an investor and entrepreneur (I want to open a gym chain someday). I was riding the school bus and saw a sign that said:

"Real estate investor looking for apprentice. 100k+ per year"

Do you think there is some kind of catch there? I'm going to write down the number tomorrow when I see it again (I missed the number because we drove by too fast) and try calling it tomorrow. I think it isn't realistic for me to make 100k because I don't even have a license, but I do want to ask for an internship or apprenticeship. Do you think I should try it out, or is there some kind of scheme that I'm not aware of?

Post: Realistic to sublease rooms at 18 years old? Advice + Tips?

So I'm 17, and have been learning about real estate and some other topics this summer. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for me to start subleasing rooms when I'm 18. I've read some articles online and stuff, but I thought it would be better to post on this forum and see different views. I know I probably need to rent out a place because it's not realistic (or smart - or maybe even possible) to get a loan to buy a home without any credit. I know it won't be as easy as it sounds, but I'm always willing to do things that most people wouldn't stick with. I will need some extra money in case a tenant doesn't pay on time, but what should I know or can I do to start subleasing when I turn 18?

Post: Would a Hard/Private Money Lender Lend to an 18 Year Old?

Note: I'm not asking for a lender, I'm just asking if a lender would lend to an 18 year old under certain circumstances

Bank type or private investors (I would most likely need to find a private investor or a group of them)

Say I was 18, found a home with a market value of 100k. Say I got it under contract for 60k due to extenuating circumstances (maybe pre foreclosure, short sale, etc)

If I needed to fix it up, or something similar, and if I presented a good case to one of these people, would they lend me money if it seemed like a promising investment?
