Thank you for taking the time to read. Does anyone have recommendations for a general contractor near Hunterdon County, New Jersey? I have a property that I would like to move forward with, but needs fairly significant rehab and I don’t have the chops for an estimate for something like this. Any guidance or recommendations would be appreciated, thank you very much!

Hello Bigger Pockets community! I am located in Hunterdon County, NJ, new to REI. I am a former music teacher, with 10 years in the public school system. During that time I built my own business, and two years ago was able to leave teaching to work full time from home as a composer. As many of you reading this know, it's an amazing thing to be your own boss as a result of hard work and self accountability.

I am now involved in REI to build a stronger future for myself, my wife, and the family we're planning on starting very soon. I work with, and learn from, my father, @Rick Stein, who has been in the business for over 30 years. I consider myself very fortunate to have him as a mentor.

As an investor, I am aiming to get started wholesaling properties to gain some capital and experience, moving into rehabbing and flips, and eventually buy and holds. I am looking to joint venture, or partner in other ways, with other investors in the central NJ area. Specifically, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer counties.
