Hello Everyone,
I am currently educating myself on REI. I would like to known what books you have read that you have found most help. I am especially interested in practical books. So far I am reading the ABC's of Real Estate Investing. I would love to know your thoughts.

Joshua Dorkin Thanks for your response. I will take up the forum on help especially for school as I will be taking finance in the near future. Great Job on BiganggerPockets. I learnt about BiggerPockets from Brandon Turner. Brandon is great!!!
Marc Bodinger Glad to know I am not alone as I embark on this new adventure. I agree both Multifamily and Hospitality are great areas. What are your areas of interest?

@Karen M. Thanks for the welcome. I am interested in Boutique real estate. Smaller statement or theme related properties.
While I am in school, just curious any thoughts on how to get the best practical experience - I have heard become a real estate agent, property manager, or just work anywhere in real estate? I would like to use this time as best as possible to gain practical experience and some cash.. thoughts anyone?

Thanks J for helping me frame my thought process towards goal setting. If I used bank financing, would the investment still be of 400k on my end, or that amount of financed property?
In terms of gaining experience, while I am still in my education phase, short of just starting to invest, would you say experience as an agent or a property manager is more relevant or it does not matter, just focus on garnering funds to get started?
