Thanks for your response Ben.

It seems I have to be more modest in my goal setting. What are strategies on working with an investor?

What is the upside and downside with hard mone?

Thanks for your response. I really appreciate it. I look forward to learning from you and others.

Multifamily I like for the possibility of creating passive income and the free cash flow. Hospitality, I grew up traveling round the world - Sweden, the Philippines, Sierra Leone etc., so i stayed in quite a few hotels in my life, so I have always been passionate about owning my own hotel in some fashion. However, I would like to get started with multifamily for the cash flow possibilities.

Any tips from your vast experience, I am goal setting right now along with educating myself. With multifamily where do I start? I would like to get to the point where I have as a minimum X amount of free cash flow from my investments on a monthly basis. Thoughts??

I am new to real estate investing. I have started the process of educating myself and it seems one key is having concrete goals. E.g. Say my initial goal is to generate $ 5,000 - $10,000 per month in free cash flow through renting properties within a year. I am interested in purchasing small properties worth 30k -50k and below and renting them out and in the market for about 650k per month. How do I go about reaching this goal? Is this reasonable for one year? Where do I get started? Any thoughts?

Hello Everyone:

Excited to be part of the BiggerPockets family!!! I am new to real estate and I am interested in multifamily and hospitality real estate. I am studying real estate at Georgetown University, but I know that the real education is in experience. I am looking to learn as much as I can from you all and share the knowledge I do have.

Best wishes to everyone now and in the new year!!!
