Hi Remy! Vodyssey is an education company. At The Short Term Shop, we are real estate agents that specialize in helping short term rental investors buy and sell short term rentals. So you can do both! We are not competitors.

I personally like the Short Term Shop - they are pros in their space 

I don't like the self management that they push and hinge your success on. This is equivalent to picking up another full time job

I'm not familiar with that program, but I'm a firm believer in paying for education. Coaching or mentorship in real estate investing can allow you to collapse time and "skip to the front of the line" by leveraging the experience and knowledge of those who have already achieved success in the industry. Just like professional athletes who still work with coaches to hone their skills, a real estate mentor or coach can provide you with valuable insights, shortcuts, and strategies that can help you avoid mistakes and fast-track your success. Instead of spending years learning by trial and error, working with a coach or mentor can allow you to accelerate your learning curve, gain confidence, and achieve your goals faster. I personally spend about 50K a year in masterminds and always get my money back just through network of individuals you get access to. HOWEVER, I'm not to big on taking a % of each deal after the fact like certain franchise opportunities.

There is a not so inexpensive fee - anywhere from 5k to 100k depending on the program and they take a % of each deal.

 I’m currently working with them and they are the real deal. They give you and teach you all of the tools you need for creative financing and are in the trenches with you.  They will match effort for effort jumping on seller calls and helping you close deals, walk you through contracts, make connections to attorneys, etc.  The community, coaching and support really are second to none, and I always gain valuable insights from the masterminds and every interaction I have with them.  You profit share with them for the first 10 deals (at the higher levels) because they really are right there with you holding your hand, and as I mentioned, doing three way calls, etc. every step of the way.  They’ll coach you right into it being your own business that allows you to leave your W2, if that’s your goal.
