Hey Robert and all Gatlinburg fans. Robert, Did you own and rent the cabins in Gatlinburg prior to moving to the area?

Do you manage them yourself? I found 1 that charges 22% , The rest are at 50-70 % = crazy.  How is your experience with management companies or Yourself in doing it? Is it demanding to do for guests ?

I friend of mine purchased 6 large cabins in Cobbly nob - 1 in 2010 and the others last year. The older one is doing very well and speaks highly of the overnight rental market there.
