Hey folks,

Due to an illness in my wife's family,  I am looking for a short term rental around Springfield for my wife, kids and two dogs for the next month or two. 

I know it's an unusual request but if you've got anything please contact me. I'll be traveling back and forth to Oregon, so we really need a something in a safe area.

I am open to the idea of outright purchasing as well.

Anyone have a hard money lender that operates in Central Oregon? I just missed out on a bid against a lower cash offer :(

I have a small SFR in St Cloud that I self manage from Oregon. It's an odd situation, so I'll not go into too many details, but I will chime in that you should absolutely understand your options when it comes to getting work/service in small towns. Get your plumbers, electricians and HVAC folks figured out before you need them (probably a good idea no matter where you invest, but super important where those services can be harder to come by) and understand their on-call policies.

@Mike Smith not really real estate related, but do you have some kind of template or format you use for thos internships. Timelines, milestones, that kind of thing. I work for a very large company and am trying to convince folks that we should engage in this type of program, both as a way of finding new talent and also as a way to help our communities youth thrive.

I dont really know what to make of the local market. New homes and used homes are so closely priced that I wonder if we arent going to see a big correction here soon.
