Hi Gary,

That is awesome and thank you for sharing that. I think that's a great way to think outside the box. I did have one question, did you have to negotiate dismissing your commission with your broker?

 Hi Brian,

It's always nice to catch a discussion with you!

I completely agree with you and to add to that this past year has seen so many changes. It'll be very interesting to see how things turn out. I definitely agree with the Worcester Market. It's incredible how much equity some homes  have gained in the recent years. Worcester itself has a ton of catalysts aiding that. I think if there are owners in this possible future foreclosure group from a city like Worcester it may be  smaller investors that might not have been financially prepared for the pandemic putting them in a tough position if on top of that their tenants were not paying rent - in either case the idea of any possible foreclosures gives me some hope.

Hey Jon!

Absolutely! I'd be very happy to see some more foreclosures for our determined clients. People are hungry for opportunity!

That is an interesting article and makes me wonder what the market will look like by the end of the year. Demand is insane all across the country, so I am curious if a wave of foreclosures actually helps stabilize supply. Out here in AZ we currently have about 2 weeks of inventory on the market, compared to 2 months of inventory at this time last year.

Is your market seeing the same demand as we are out west? Most listings are receiving 7-8 offers within a weekend in my market.

Hi Ryan,

We are also seeing a ton of demand and lower inventory which has made the market really competitive. I wish I was seeing 7-8 offers sometimes they are over 20 offers, significantly higher than asking (for the most part) for both single and multi-unit homes. If this were to happen in the future I think it would definitely be a positive thing for buyers but I am not sure if it'll be significant enough to make the market less competitive!

I saw this article on Bloomberg and decided to share it and see what others thought about this. Do you believe we will be seeing a significant amount of foreclosures towards the end of the year?

Hi John,

I'm sorry that happened to you and it's really unfortunate. Were you working with an attorney? I think it's probably best to ask the or an attorney and tell them all the details of what happened. Show him/her the contract and have them explain what you can or cannot do from a legal perspective. In either case best of luck!

Hi @Kendrique Coats !

I also agree with many people here  if you have the finances and you come across a great deal why not take advantage. If anything it may be more important to choose the right type of investment within the market. Wish you the best!

@Dre Carson

Hi Dre,

Welcome and congrats!

I always say that starting something new is always hard at the beginning. The current crisis may make it harder for some but real estate will always be needed. With that being said this too shall pass and you'll be able to work towards your goals in no time. I think your why is motivating enough and I can relate in the sense that I want more freedom to do the things that bring me true happiness! I wish you and your family the best of luck!
