Congrats! The best time to start is when you're ready to commit. I'm also in Houston and host free networking events. Feel free to connect.

Thank you, Chris. I have a lot of information to sift through now. I'll reach out about the events.

Howdy y'all. Wanted to stop in and say hello to the community. My wife and I are starting our property investment journey a little later in life (in our 40s), but we're committed to leaving the rat race and finding that financial freedom. Houston will be our spring board into property investing. We intend to retire in Thailand and expand our investments to the Thai market.

We're looking forward to meeting others that have chosen financial freedom, and we welcome any knowledge y'all have to share. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Hi @Sam Marziano:, the way we did it when we were new, was through buying pre-foreclosures before they went to sale. It is something that needs to be learned to make sure you are compliant, but the payoff shaves years off of investing.

Thanks, Ken. I'll be reading that article tonight.

Hello Sam,

Welcome to BP! Never too late to get started, we have some members in our investor association that are in their 70's and still excited about investing and owning property that they want to pass along to their grandkids.

Get around people that are doing it and take action. Happy to share with you some of our In person meeting here in Houston area.

Good luck!

Thanks, Daniel!

Hi Sam,

One of my favorite mantras is, "I am on time for my life."

You aren't late. You might be even better prepared to tackle REI now. I think its important to be careful with comparing ourselves to others. We are all on our own track in life. I am excited for you to get started! I would be happy to connect and help in any ways that I can.

Cheers, Kate

Thanks, Kate! It was nice to hear from you 🙂
