I had a minor issue with a random foundation crack that decided to leak a few weeks after closing.  This was after our Chiberia which was -30-40 temps.  I just ended up paying 1000 for drywall fix/repair.  Cost was probably a lot more but negotiated it down.  Cheaper and less pain in *** than going go court of some kind. That was a flip with a fairly large margin and didn't want to deal with it.

Did you hire handyman or actual Plumber? Some handymans literally just pour draino and say here you go.  If it was properly rodded and tested after repair, it should of been fine.

Did they ask for any money?

I guess it is possible that your mother scheduled a tour through zillow but I would say there is 0.01% chance that an actually licensed agent would not use MLS to schedule. So much more/better information on MLS than on zillow. Something is amiss

Very generous of you to leave 1 bandit sign untouched.

There is no best website. It is always deal specific. Any website, mls, wholesalers, auctions, county auctions...they all have their good and bad deals.

Vinyl plank is the way to go.  I use the ones with sticky grip strips.  I pay a bit more for traffic master from home depot only because I use the same model and i can count on them to be in stock and not discontinued. sometimes cheap ones just disappear which makes repair a bit more pita

Alliant credit card - 2.5% Cash back , 99$ annual fee.  50k credit limit.

If you do a ton of business, this is one of the best cards on the market.

For normal airlines, southwest card is pretty good.

move on.  Probably not worth the trouble/time if you have given back the deposit.
