In spirit of the holidays, we wanted to plan a "Happy Holidays" networking event for December's meetup group! In addition to the networking event, we are proud to be hosting a fundraiser for "Austin Habitat for Humanity". We will be raffling off tickets for 30 minute coaching sessions with some AMAZING investor mentors!!! All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the local community for Habitat for Humanity.

Join us for the Real Estate InvestHER November meetup group that will host two guest speakers from San Antonio! Our November meetup group will host Allison Tipton from Tipton Law Firm and Caitlyn Ellison from Wildcat Lending.

Allison Tipton, Managing Attorney at Tipton Law Firm, PLLC, handles a variety of residential real estate transactions and document prep. Whether it’s an alternative financing transaction or lien/judgment removal, Tipton Law Firm, PLLC has you covered from contract to close. Allison will be educating us on sub-tos, wraparounds, liens/judgements and general information about laws related to real estate investing.

Our next meetup group will host Crystal Callahan from Mission Title. Crystal will be speaking about title insurance and why it is important to investors. She will also talk about how to read the title commitment and what things are important to look for on a title commitment as an investor.

Crystal started in the title industry in 1990 as a receptionist in Amarillo, Texas. Crystal quickly moved up and learned every aspect of the title industry, from examining the title to closing the loans. Crystal herself is an investor and has worked with investors all over the country in many different types of investment transactions. Crystal is recently married and loves living in Georgetown. She is currently the Branch Manager and Escrow Officer for two of Mission Title’s Branches.

If you have ever seen a title commitment and found yourself lost in title lingo, you won't want to miss this event! Crystal has prepared several flyers that will be passed out the meetup and you won't want to miss the explanation that comes along with these documents!!

Our next InvestHer meetup group will host Lexi Teifke from TRE Homes who will speaking about the buy & hold strategy! This is going to be an amazing event for all of gals that have expressed interest in learning more about analyzing buy and hold deals, how they are structured and how to manage them once they are acquired. Lexi Teifke was born in raised in Texas! She went to TX A&M Corpus where she graduated with a degree in education and met her real estate savvy husband Matt. Together they launched their property management company in 2015 which initially was formed to just manage internal properties for themselves, friends and family; but now manages over 300 doors. They focus on being tenant driven and investor focused.
