Dan, did you try the guy I sent you?

I'm working with Ulster Savings right now for a Tri-plex and have used them for our previous two personal house purchases.  Very easy to work with.  Not sure how they are on the commercial side.

Try Ulster Savings Bank

How many units?

@Dylan Henke I know where you are coming from and have been there myself.  Although, my issues are anxiety related.  Its something I've dealt with the entire 41 years of my life and honestly, just in the last couple of years I've begun to tackle the anxiety and procrastination that comes along with it.  It's easy to let the little things distract you so you dont have to face the bigger, more real, challenges.

I recently ran across a series of articles on anxiety and procrastination that helped shed some light on my situation.. I'm certainly not diagnosing since I'm not a doctor, but thought this could help someone else.

It also depends on the area you are investing in. Is there an abundance of one type over the other where you want to invest? In my location, duplexes and triplexes are the norm so that's what we are starting with.

Fishkill is good, solid schools.  Beacon was very hot and is now way over priced.  The market has moved further north.  Also, be careful where in Beacon you buy as there are some rougher neighborhoods.

I have a recommendation on a home inspector who typically I use.  The guy is fantastic and knows his stuff.  He'll really take the time to walk you through the property after he inspects it.  PM me if you want his contact info.

Also, you may want to look into a hard money lender to do the rehab.  Are you planning to flip or buy and hold this property?  Ask your RE agent if they know of any HMLs.

Best of luck!
