Public data has become a critical advantage for big business when it comes to learning about customers.

With it, they can better develop, market, and sell everything from shoelaces to allergy medications, as well as rapidly out-compete local business in the process.

But big business doesn’t own public data. Organizations at every level, including Real Estate Agents, are just as capable of unlocking the boundless market intelligence it provides.

When deftly wielded, public data becomes a powerful catalyst of market wisdom, able to turn mid-level agents into top producers. With the right data and proper tools, you can own your market.

Let us show you how to do it.

ABOUT DAVID LAPLANTE

David LaPlante is CMO at PropertyRadar, where he leads its mission to make targeted local marketing easy as the leading property information research and marketing platform for Investors, Realtors®, and Home Services Professionals.

David joined PropertyRadar in January of 2015 after hearing CEO Sean O’Toole’s vision of how small businesses can leverage public records data to compete against the billions invested by big businesses trying to dominate and intermediate the market.

Born in Aspen and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado, David relocated to Reno/Lake Tahoe in 1988 when he was recruited to the University of Nevada ski team. He graduated with dual degrees in Finance and Economics.

David soon became the youngest marketing executive in the casino industry, helping his employer expand services across the country. In 2002, he co-founded and served as CEO of digital agency and software developer Twelve Horses (acquired in 2009), and lead a cumulative client spend of $100 million in brand development, media, messaging, and content development for over 50 of the Fortune 1000 brands.

David serves as board advisor to Requested (acquired by Waitr); Fluri (acquired by Snocru), and digital agency Noble Studios, a 4-time Inc. 5000 winner as a fastest growing private company in America and 2014 Small Business of the Year.

What: Robert Campbell author of Timing The Real Estate Market Will Discuss

The Southern California Housing Market: Where it Goes from Here – and Why

When: August 9th, doors open at 6:00pm. Members $10, Non members $20

Where: Scottish Rite Center - 1895 Camino del Rio S, San Diego, CA 92108

Robert Campbell’s key market timing indicators signaled the exact peak

of the San Diego real estate market in 2005 – and will likely signal the peak of

this housing market up cycle as well. Robert has so much data-driven

information to reveal about the housing market and the economy that he

promises you will be well ahead of the crowd in knowing (1) what the trends are

saying and (2) what that means for SoCal housing prices in the next 3-6

months.

Here is small sampling of what you will learn:

- Is now a good time to buy … or should you wait?

- What key market timing indicators you should be watching – and how to “read” the

signals that tell you the market is about to change.

- Is it a just coincidence that U.S. housing prices have gone up 32% since the start of

Quantitative Easing in November 2008?

- How to avoid the single biggest mistake in real estate. Learn how to protect yourself.

- When the next bear market in housing is likely to start – and how far prices could fall.

- And lastly, why we are facing a Coming Economic Storm – and what you should do

about it.

Robert Campbell is a real estate economist (UCLA), author, investor, and publisher of The

Campbell Real Estate Timing Letter, a market-timing advisory for real estate investors that is based

100% on data. His book Timing the Real Estate Market presents what Robert calls “The Campbell

Method,” where he shows readers how to predict the coming peaks and valleys of real estate cycles by watching five key indicators.

Based on the key housing market indicators identified in his book, Robert’s real estate timing

model has accurately predicted the rise and fall of Southern California real estate prices with a success rate of 85-90% over the course of the last 34 years.

Is NOW a good time to sell, or are prices still going higher?

1031 Exchange Team

Members of 1031 Exchange Team, Michael Kole with Kole Realty and Bill Exeter with Exeter 1031 Exchange Services, LLC will present a 1031 Exchange panel.

Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code provides one of the best tax strategies available for deferring the capital gain tax you would otherwise pay on the sale of your investment property: the 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange.

By using an exchange to defer the capital gain tax, instead of a traditional sale, you would have a great deal more equity to reinvest in another property.

Topics will include:

- How to structure a successful 1031 Exchange with a review of rules, strategies, and compliance requirements.

- Tax advantages of 1031 exchanges

- Ten 1031 exchange strategies investors use to build wealth

- A 1031 Exchange Road Map to manage the process from the beginning to completion

- Time for questions and answers
