Have you checked into borrowing against your 401k? a lot of times you can take a loan and pay yourself back

Hello Everyone,
Does anyone have strategies on financing a small multi family that will be a primary residence to house hack? I do not qualify for the appropriate amount to purchase a small multi however the rents of the other units would easily allow the payments of the owner occupant to be made. Any creative financing strategies on how to get in on a deal like this?

Hello Everyone,
My employer is currently offering me a 401k plan with a 3% match, the only problem is that the vesting schedule does not recognize 100% of the company's match until 6 years has passed. There is some hesitation on my part to think if i leave before the 6 year mark then I could have achieved better returns outside of the 401k. Anyone have thoughts on this?

@Robert Ortiz, there are quite a few factors in this space as frank mentioned. Right now we are building fully enclosed self storage facilities for around 75-80 bucks a foot. the biggest factor on these is the site work. you never know what's under the dirt.
If you're looking for just simple carport rv parking with asphalt I think you would be looking around 60 bucks a foot, depending on what steel prices do.
