if you had $5000 in your savings today what would you do with it (today) what would you do to grow it to 1 million dollars in the next 5-10 years.

Quote from @Brian Plajer:

Hi Shane,

  One of David Green's suggestions, when asking for a mentor, is to make sure you bring something to the table. I don't know your background or expertise but I'm sure you have something to offer a potential mentor. Whatever that is offer it and maybe by you helping them they'll be happy to help you. Just passing on the great advice from the podcast pro. Best of luck to you!

Hi Brian!

That makes sense! Thank you for that input. Let me change this up a bit.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I’m new to real estate and I was looking for someone who I could shadow and learn from about real estate and or air BNB arbitrage in Houston. I want to see properties, learn how to manage them and learn how to talk to other people. As well as how to structure deals, determine the value of a property and how to find the right tenants.

Would love to talk!

I need to do some more reading and digging but two questions

Should I buy a house that is not a fixer upper and should I get a loan to pay my down payment? (What are some good loan services for a new time buyer with good credit?)

@Matthew Crivelli

Sweet will definitely take that into consideration. Bought Brandon’s book on real estate properties, so I’ll take a read. Thanks for the advice

Hey Everyone! Hope all is well.

So I’m extremely new to real estate and more specifically rentals. I honestly have no idea where to start and it kind of seems overwhelming on where to begin learning all of the necessary information needed to be successful in real estate. Any tips on how to ask the right questions and begin my real estate journey?
