I live in Statesville. If you're looking for a mix of both appreciation and cash flow, Huntersville / Mooresville is a better bet. Just my two cents.

Hi Julie. It really depends on how much appreciation. I can help in Statesville, Wilmington, Mooresville, Davidson, Winston Salem, and Huntersville. Those are my areas of expertise. As for appreciation in Statesville, it's an odd market, but since Covid, people are coming this way. It's cheaper than Mooresville, Davidson, and Huntersville area. However, it doesn't have the infrastructure that the other towns have. Wilmington, Mooresville, and Huntersville are always in demand. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll try to help.

Happy to chat. I live in Statesville but work in Charlotte area.

@Adam Barber send me the addresses, and I'll give you my input.

Hi Adam.

I live in Statesville and know the area well along with the property managers. What questions do you have?

Oh, yes. I know where that is. Well, kudos on the great find! Let me know if you need me to drive by, etc. =) I'm happy to help.

Where was the property in Statesville? I actually live here. Inventory is really tight right now.

I'm in Statesville. I've had work done with Ashworth Construction. Scott Ashworth is the owner and he's good. He's awesome at concrete work, but is also a GC. I think he's located in Mt. Pleasant, NC--outside of Concord area. Anyhow, good luck. Feel free to PM me if you need his contact number. I know he has a linked in page under his name

@Dave Fontana and @Jonathan Toruno I'm in Statesville NC too. I'd be interested in meeting as well.

@Bing Lin Yes and yes. The appreciation in Mooresville will always be greater. It's closer to the lake and CLT. You'll pay a bit more, but the rents are higher too. You'll experience less vacancy as well. Huntersville is also a good area, but a little more pricy. If you go to Mooresville, stick to the Iredell county side. Taxes are cheaper but you'll get the same appreciation rate and Mooresville school system. I hope this helps. --Sharon
