@Manutea Tchan Our meetup meets the 1st Saturday of the month. However, the local REIA does have a meeting next Wednesday night. If you are interested in going just let me know. It meets up in north part of the city near Maitland. Otherwise, I would be happy to meet with you and could maybe even get a couple others from the group to join us.

@Chris Tracy I agree with Tampa and Jacksonville,  but Orlando has pretty much priced itself out of the "best" category in my opinion. I wish it were still true, shorter drive for me. 

@Robert Campbell That is good news. What size units are they, if you don't mind me asking? I am in a similar situation with the property I am looking at, the current mom & pop owner have kept the rents low and have long time tenants in place.

I agree. People always think Orlando and most have never heard of Apopka. Even the surrounding communities of Altamonte Springs, Longwood and Maitland are rarely mentioned.  I guess the MSA gets all the attention, but that is good of us local investors :)

@Griselle Monzon and @John Kent there is a networking/educational meetup tomorrow morning in Winter Park. Nothing sold, no real estate courses. Look for it in under the events section. Meets the first Saturday of every month.
