Thank you Matt. You make some  great points and I appreciate your input. We are continuing to educate ourselves and agree an attorney is not someone we need now. We do need to find a new CPA anyway, as we are not happy with our current CPA. 

Once we decide on where to invest we will first find an agent and property manager.

Hi BP Community,

My husband and I are getting ready to get into real estate investing and are trying to find a CPA and lawyer in the SF Bay Area. Does anyone have any recommendations for a CPA and attorney who work with investors? Your time is most appreciated!

I should add that we are more concerned with getting the right CPA, who is more of a tax strategist, can help us structure things in the most beneficial way and who will be responsive to questions throughout the year. We are open to working with someone remotely who is not in the SF Bay Area as well.
