Hello BP,

I own a real estate brokerage and I only do investment real estate.  At this point it is only me.  I know there are a lot of investors out there with a real estate license that are having to hang their licenses somewhere.  There are obviously cost involved in growing a brokerage.  I wanted to get advise if any of the agents would be interested in working with me to build an investment brokerage.  We could advertise that as our specialty to hopefully bring both buyers and sellers to us.  I would like to be able to find more wholesale deals, flips, and build a buyers list that we either help them find investment properties or people that want us to find them a home and make it into their dream home (property brothers style).  Has any one done this?  Is anyone interested?

I too am a Realtor/investor and own Aspire Realty.  We specialize in investment real estate and are located in FTW.  I also plan and run the local BP meetup every last Weds. of the month at 7pm in Bedford we would love for you guys to come.  It is a great way to network and we always have a speaker to educate, no sells.  If I can help you in any way please contact me.  I currently have 3 rehabs to sell, one in FTW and 2 in Denton.  Unfortunately none are multifamily but I am going to look at a multifamily today.

 My end buyer was not able to get funding and closing is scheduled for May 12th. It can be pushed a few days buy not many. So I didn’t line up funding because I had it sold. This will be a great flip. It is all cosmetic and in a lake front neighborhood that sells high and fast. I wish I had the funds because I would love to flip it myself. The details are in the listing. I have already spent quite a bit of time and money on it. It had squirrels living in one of the walls so we caught them and have rebuilt the whole wall and I have removed the popcorn ceilings in 2 rooms, touched up the paint and cleaned it. I had it sold for $249K if anyone is interested I would like to get $240K. You could easily spend less than $20K and sell it for $280 - $300K more if more is done. It could also be rented as is.  Please let me know asap if interested.

Hi Petra!

Welcome!  I run the monthly DFW meetup the last Weds. of every month in Bedford at 7:00 location is usually Boomer Jacks or Spring Creek BBQ.  I post it a couple of times the week before the event.  If you want to send me your email I will add you to the contact list.  Also please add me to yours I am interested in any properties that you have!

I have been wanting to build a tiny home community around a college.  I think it would be really cute and the college kids would love it!  Just not sure where to start if the city has a problem with zoning them.

I host a monthly REI Bigger Pockets meetup in the DFW area and would love for you to come. It is the last Weds. of every month at 7:00pm usually in Bedford, TX since that is kind of between Fort Worth and Dallas. The location is TBA each month but it is usually either at Boomer Jacks or Spring Creek BBQ. We have a great turn out and it is a great way to meet people and network. We always have a speaker to teach us something and never trying to sell anything. Several of the guys that posted are part of the group.
