I'm in Louisiana and use the Louisiana Press Association's website. They have a database of all the Public Announcements (which is what the tax sales fall under here) by Parish. Perhaps TN has something similar?

Hi Roger. I just finished reading Real Estate Tax Liens & Foreclosure Deeds (Learn in 7 Days) by Don Sausa. I'm a newbie and haven't had a chance to apply any of the info in the book, but I found it to be an easy read, informative and not too expensive. I believe I paid about $14 + s/h. It's not state specific though.

Thanks for the welcome Joshua. My focus is mainly Central Louisiana - Rapides, Grant and Avoyelles Parishes; however, I sometimes venture out into LaSalle & Natchitoches Parishes.

As a newbie to investing, I liked the below because neither were packed with a lot of techy terms - I like to keep it simple:
Real Estate Tax Liens & Foreclosure Deeds
Don Sausa
Making Big Money Investing in Real Estate without Tenants, Banks or Rehab Projects
Peter Conti & David Finkel

Hello! I'm a real estate agent from LA. I'm a newbie to real estate investing for myself, currently researching tax lien properties in LA and tax deed properties in TX. I hope to learn from the experts here and help where I can.
