Well, I'm sending then W9 for fill out. If they refuse to send it or ignore it. I'll just sign out 1099 without the SSN.

Hi All,

So I'm late on the W9 with the tax season closing soon. My contractor said he's ok with the W9 since he'll be doing 1099. I just called the company that did the plumping, which their ok with it took. About half hour ago, I talked to the roofing company. They told me they don't do taxes. I'm lost on that, since I spend 5.6k on roof last year to have it replace. Is roofing itself tax deductible?

Also should I should I do 1099 on these?

Electric - Amp box upgrade ($1200)

If it's long term, go with tile. Long run, usually don't need to be replace as much as lami.

So I purchased a property at Tampa, FL last month. I'm planning to renovate it this coming month. I was told by the general contractor that I need to wait a year, after I fixed and make things newer to sell it per state law. I have never heard a year rule anywhere, have u guys?

Going to call roofing to get an estimate, but can I go with no roof? Like water proof the pillar or something like that? Please see the picture for any ideal which would be great. Thanks a bunch.

Actually, the house isn't in California, and it's build in 1947. I was reading some pages regarding prep work for renov, and most says need to be careful about asbestos. I'm really time restricted on this renovation, since I request personal time off from work to do this. If I start demo on the floor, and find asbestos, then it'll cost too much time to get them remove. I guess it's always a gamble to do it last minutes.

Going to start a renov in couple of week, I have no ideal it has asbestos or not. When you guys DIY, do you guys test for it? No wall knock down, just old hardwood floor change, and maybe bathroom remodel.
