Hey everyone
I've never worked with a mortgage broker not to say I wouldn't. Does anyone feel that the fees you pay are worth the service you get? Or in general can you find just as good as a deal going straight to the lender?
Any thoughts?
Hey
Not sure exactly where you are in Missouri but their is a link on the right hand site of the page towards the bottom that says, "Real Estate Investment Clubs." You can search by state. Hope that helps

Unfortunately, I don't have all the terms readily available but I've been disqualified anyway =(. In Connecticut, me and my girlfriend's combined gross income would have to be under 81K and it's not. However, i was speaking to someone at soverign bank, i was told the rate for an FHA loan was 5.6% straightline amortization like Juza mentioned.

What Ohio said is what I'm considering. FHA loan 5.6%. It's a special for first time home buyers, you have to meet certain criteria.
I agree with you Ohio. However since I don't have the money yet to invest, I'd be wasting a realtors time just asking for comps. I been using zillow just to get a sense of how the program values real estate in my area compared to the rest of the United States.
Oh wow, I graduated from CCSU. Definitely I'll check the site out...thanks
Hey Phu
I'm from Connecticut as well. Live in Bristol. Where did the investment club meet? Do they have a website?
Hello Everyone
This may be a dumb question but I been reading a few books on real estate trying to educate myself and the topic of the last chapter was adverse possession. Basically, what I gathered was that if you move into an abandoned or unoccupied preoperty and pay preoperty taxes on it for a given period of time, you can sue for title in state court and win the property? How is this not considered trespassing?

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried both IE and Firefox. For spyware protection, I have Spybot and windows defender. Antivirus= AVG. That redirection to a spammy search site happens with both browsers unfortunately. I suspected the same problem but I can't figure out a way to fix it. It seems like the official word for this is browser hijack. I have no idea how to fix it. it's bogging down my internet and making it slow. =(
Any suggestions...?

To Administrators-
Is there any changes I need to make in my web browser? I find myself often hitting the refresh button to get the entire page to show up correctly. Sometimes half the page will load and then abruptly stop. I know it must not be a site issue otherwise I would see more comments about it. I don't have this problem with any other sites. I was thinking maybe I need to adjust IE's settings or something. Then something strange happen...other day I Searched for Bigger Pockets because I forgot to bookmark it and when I clicked your link it in yahoo...it redirected me to some wacky search site.....
